Ian does make more works that are entirely made up of pixels, but in recent years he seems to have enjoyed using 25mm buttons to represent his pixels. The beautiful round and glossy buttons really add value to these works!
Nice extra dimension: the buttons themselves can show an image or a recognisable texture.
'Trevor Jackson' is made up of buttons with nutrition, breasts and buttocks. Nice!
